King — privacy policy

Effective 4 August 2026. This policy applies to the King application only. The tabula.works website has its own notice.

Who we are

King is developed and published by Tabula Works L.L.C-FZ, trading as Tabula Works, Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy questions: privacy@tabula.works.

What King collects

King does not ask you to create an account. It does not request your name, telephone number or email address. There is no sign-in and no profile.

What is stored on your device

The following is held in the application's local storage. King does not transmit it to Tabula Works or to an application server:

• game progress and the current hand
• settings, including house rules and difficulty
• chosen interface language
• progress through the guided learning deals
• game statistics and score history

Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. iOS may include app data in device backups or device-to-device transfers according to your system settings. We hold no server copy and cannot restore it.

Challenge and deal codes

A challenge code is generated on your device from the deal seed. It is not sent to us and no server is involved. If you share a code with someone, you do so yourself, through whatever messaging app you choose — that sharing is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not this one.

Analytics and advertising

King contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising and no advertising identifiers. We do not build a profile of you.

Third-party services and SDKs

The application is built with Capacitor 8 and its Cordova compatibility layer — runtime components needed to run its bundled interface on iOS. The submitted version contains no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. These runtime components do not transmit gameplay or personal data to Tabula Works.

King makes no network requests of its own; everything it needs is included in the application. The Privacy and Support links on its main screen open this website in your browser when you tap them, and from that point your browser's terms and this site's own website notice apply.

Support communications

If you write to support@tabula.works, we hold your message and our reply in order to answer you and to keep a record of the issue. We do not use support correspondence for marketing. Messages are deleted once the matter is closed and no longer needed for reference.

Children's privacy

King is a card game suitable for general audiences. The application does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child or guardian contacts support, we use the message only to respond and keep a record of the issue as described above.

Retention and deletion

No gameplay data is stored on our servers. Data held locally is under your control and is removed from the device when you remove the app or clear its data. Device backups and transfers are controlled through your iOS settings.

Security

Because game data stays on your device, its security is provided by your device and its operating system. Support correspondence is held in a mailbox protected by named-user access and multi-factor authentication.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of King collects anything, this policy will be updated and the effective date changed before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
